Like I do every year on this day, I encourage all to go out and get tested please! There's nothing worse than NOT knowing.
If you are, or not sexually active, please get tested routinely every 3-6 months. There are several options for the test, a blood test is your best option.
If you are brave, go for the option where you find out within minutes. I've done it before (I talked my head off because of my nerves), but it was well worth it.
Breathe easy and protect yourself. Life is short as we all know, but something that is preventable, should never be something you catch easily. Unfortunately for some, it is.
There are plenty of resources here in the metropolitan area that will give you info about AIDS and HIV testing. Educate yourself and love yourself.
